How numerology compatibility works
The base is each person's Life Path, calculated from the birth date. In Pythagorean numerology the numbers fall into three families: the independents (1, 5, and 7), the builders (2, 4, and 8), and the feeling numbers (3, 6, and 9). Couples in the same family tend to understand each other easily. Couples from different families complete each other, and they need more explicit agreements.
How to calculate a Life Path
Add every digit of the birth date and reduce to a number from 1 to 9 (11, 22, and 33 are kept as master numbers). Example: 11/03/1988 → 1 + 1 + 0 + 3 + 1 + 9 + 8 + 8 = 31; 3 + 1 = 4.
